The 3rd I AM Youth Fashion Show: Empowering Michigan’s Youth Through Fashion and Confidence

Bay City, MI – The 3rd I AM Youth Fashion Show, presented by United We Go, will take place on June 14th, 2025, at the Bay City Town Center in Bay City, Michigan. This year’s event promises to be one of the largest and most impactful youth fashion showcases in the Great Lakes Bay Region and beyond. The fashion show will not only celebrate youth empowerment and self-expression, but also unite youth from across Michigan to create an unforgettable experience that will inspire confidence, creativity, and community.

Over 80 youth models, aged 4-17, will take to the runway, each embodying one of the 5 I AM themes:

  • I AM Confident

  • I AM Loved

  • I AM Enough

  • I AM Kind

  • I AM Unique

“These themes resonate with our mission to empower youth to express themselves, embrace their uniqueness, and build the confidence needed to navigate their futures,” says Gina Anayana, Founder and President of United We Go. “This event is about more than just fashion – it’s about celebrating the next generation and encouraging them to step into their own power.”

The 2025 I AM Youth Fashion Show will provide a platform for young models to shine, offering them a space to showcase their confidence and individuality. In addition to the runway show, models will participate in a series of empowerment workshops designed to cultivate self-esteem, leadership, and teamwork. These specialized sessions will cover areas such as Personal Grooming and Hair Care Mastery, Cosmetic Artistry and Self-Expression Techniques, Financial Empowerment and Literacy, and Posture and Body Language Development. These workshops will help models build confidence and develop skills that extend far beyond the runway, empowering them for success in various areas of their lives.

In addition to the models, 10 youth ambassadors have been selected to represent the 5 I AM themes. These ambassadors will share their empowerment stories, which will be produced and aired on Good Karma TV Network, giving them a platform to inspire others and raise awareness about the importance of self-love, leadership, and community.

Designers who participate will have the opportunity to showcase their creative process and stories behind the designs for the show. Their work will be featured on the United We Go channel on Good Karma TV Network, allowing them to share their artistic journeys and the values they are advocating for through fashion.

The event will be produced for Roku TV, ensuring the voices of these youth models, ambassadors, and designers reach audiences beyond the local community. This is an opportunity for Michigan to showcase the importance of self-empowerment and positive self-image, especially for youth in communities often underrepresented in the fashion industry.

Beyond the runway, the event will also feature local and afar designers, vendors, and artists, reinforcing the importance of collaboration, community, and creative expression. We want this fashion show to be an inclusive event that not only works with local artists, designers, photographers, and vendors, but also opens its doors to anyone, whether you’re from Michigan, anywhere in the USA, or from another country. We invite all creators, innovators, and collaborators to join us in making this event a truly diverse and global celebration of youth empowerment and creativity.

“We want every child who participates to leave knowing they are seen, valued, and celebrated for who they are,” says Anayana. “The I AM Youth Fashion Show serves as a reminder that youth are the future, and they deserve a platform to showcase their talents and stories.”

The Casting Call for models will be held on April 12th, 2025, Saturday, at the Bay City Town Center. The fashion show event itself will take place on June 14th, 2025, at Bay City Town Center, located at 4101 Wilder Rd, Bay City, MI 48706.

Tickets for the event are now available, with early bird pricing for a limited time. Additionally, applications for volunteers, photographers, designers, vendors, and artists are open and can be submitted via the official United We Go website.

This is a unique opportunity to support and celebrate youth from across Michigan as they take the stage, embrace their individuality, and inspire others through fashion and confidence.
