Two New Artists Join the Ever-Living Friendship Wall at Wenonah Park

The Ever-Living Friendship Wall is growing once again!

United We Go is excited to welcome Charlotte Shinabarger (Charlotte Art) of Petoskey, Michigan, and Jamie Sandy of Canadian Lakes, Michigan, as they create two new mural panels for this ongoing community art project.

Painting will take place August 12–13, 2026, at Wenonah Park in Bay City, and the public is invited to stop by, meet the artists, and experience the creative process firsthand.

Meet the Artists

Charlotte Shinabarger (Charlotte Art)

Charlotte is an internationally recognized muralist, canvas painter, and community-driven creative whose artwork combines bold color, futurism, and ancient symbolism. Growing up in Flint inspired her passion for creating public art that celebrates resilience, culture, and human connection. Her murals can be found throughout Michigan and beyond, bringing vibrant stories to communities wherever she paints.

Jamie Sandy

Jamie Sandy is a multidisciplinary designer, artist, entrepreneur, and founder of Travel Log, a public art series inspired by the stories that connect people to places. Through murals that capture memories, experiences, and local identity, Jamie encourages communities to celebrate their shared history while inspiring others to create meaningful journeys of their own.

A Living Community Canvas

The Ever-Living Friendship Wall is more than a collection of murals—it's a living symbol of unity, creativity, and collaboration. Created through a partnership between United We Go and the City of Bay City Parks Department, the wall welcomes artists from diverse backgrounds and artistic styles to contribute meaningful works that strengthen our community through public art.

With every new mural, another story is added to a wall that continues to evolve year after year.
