Welcome to www.unitedwego.org, the website of United We Go, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Michigan's Great Lakes Bay Region. By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

 

Using our website

You may use this site to learn about our programs, register for events, donate, volunteer, and connect with our community. Please do not:

•  Post or send anything unlawful, harassing, hateful, or harmful, especially toward young people

•  Pretend to be someone else or give false information on forms

•  Try to hack, disrupt, or overload the site, or collect other users' information

•  Use the site to advertise or sell without our written permission

 

Member accounts and community spaces

If you create a member account or join a group on our site, keep your login information private and make sure the information you give us is accurate. Posts and comments in community spaces must be respectful and follow these terms. We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules or put others at risk. Youth programs are registered by a parent or guardian, and children under 13 should not create their own accounts.

 

Donations

Donations are processed securely by PayPal. United We Go is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We will send a receipt for your records. Donations are generally non-refundable; if you believe a donation was made in error, contact us within 30 days and we will work with you.

 

Events, programs, and fees

Most of our events are free. Some programs, such as our podcast club, have a participation fee, which will be listed when you register. Event dates, times, locations, and activities may change because of weather, safety, or other circumstances, and we will share updates on our website and social media. Some programs require a signed registration form, waiver, or media release from a parent or guardian.

 

Our content

The text, logos, photos, videos, artwork, and other materials on this site belong to United We Go or to the artists, photographers, and partners who allowed us to use them. Murals and artwork shown on our site remain the property of their artists. You may share links to our pages and use our content for personal, non-commercial purposes with credit to United We Go. Please ask before reusing our logo, photos of participants, or artists' work.

 

Things you send us

When you send us stories, photos, memories (for example, through the Memory of Love project), artwork, or other submissions, you confirm you have the right to share them and give us permission to use them to share our mission. We will honor reasonable requests to remove your submission.

 

Links to other websites

Our site links to other websites, such as PayPal, our merchandise store, partner organizations, and community event listings. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices. Event listings from other organizations are shared as a community resource; please confirm details with the host.

 

Disclaimer

We work to keep our website accurate and available, but it is provided "as is." We do not promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

 

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, United We Go and its board, staff, and volunteers are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. This does not limit any rights you have that cannot be waived under law.

 

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
