🏆 United We Go Community Awards: Nominations Now Open (2023–2025)

As United We Go celebrates three years of impact, we are proud to announce the opening of nominations for our very first United We Go Community Awards.


Over the past three years, our journey has been shaped by incredible individuals, dedicated volunteers, supportive partners, and inspiring youth who continue to show up, lead, and create meaningful change in our community.

This is our moment to recognize them.


✨ Honoring 3 Years of Impact

Since 2022, United We Go has brought together people from across the Great Lakes Bay Region through programs like the City of Mural Community Festival, the I AM Youth Fashion Show & Empowerment Program, and the Voice of Youth Podcast Program.


These initiatives are powered by people — individuals who lead with heart, creativity, and a deep commitment to building a more connected and inclusive community.

The United We Go Community Awards are designed to celebrate those individuals and organizations who have made a lasting impact through their involvement with our work.


🏆 Award Categories

We are accepting nominations in the following categories:

Youth of the Year

Recognizes a young individual who has demonstrated growth, confidence, leadership, and active participation through United We Go programs.

Volunteer of the Year

Honors an individual who has generously contributed their time, energy, and dedication to support our events and initiatives.

Community Partner of the Year

Recognizes a business, organization, or sponsor that has played a key role in supporting United We Go through collaboration and resources.

Creative Impact Award

Celebrates individuals who use creativity—through art, fashion, storytelling, or media—to inspire others and create meaningful community impact.

Unity in Action Award

Honors individuals or leaders who bring people together, foster collaboration, and actively support unity, inclusion, and community growth.



💛 Who Can Be Nominated?

Nominees must have contributed to or participated in United We Go programs, events, or initiatives between 2022 and 2025.

We encourage you to nominate someone who embodies:

  • Leadership

  • Creativity

  • Service

  • Unity

If someone comes to mind, trust that instinct — their story deserves to be recognized.
