2024 Museum Art Wanders Event
Bay County Historical Society and United We Go present you MUSEUM ART WANDERS!
Promoting public art with the Great Lakes Bay Region’s youth. Students in grades 6-12 are invited to learn about the art of mural creation from local artists and as a group paint a piece of art work. Once completed the mural will "wander" across the region, making stops to be displayed at different organizations and businesses.

The whole family is welcome to attend this festive day, which will include vendors, food trucks, music, and art.

Mural Artist
Seeking (4) four mural artist to each design a 4'x8' mural, present the art of mural making to a group of students (grades 6-12), and lead the group in painting the mural.
Time line:
April 10th - Brief session
April 29th - Final design submission
May 10th - 4 designs will be chosen
June 15th - Event
Compensation: $250/mural artist

Student Sign Up
Students in grades 6-12 are invited to sign-up for an one-hour session to learn about the art of mural creation from four mural artists.
Together they will create a “wandering” mural to be displayed at different regional locations.
Sessions: 12 PM, 1 PM, 2 PM & 3 PM
